The Super Falcons and the Lady Elephants will compete for a spot at the Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON) set to hold in July.

The first leg of the clash will hold at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Friday, 18 February while the return leg in Abidjan will hold five days later.

The Super Eagles beat archrivals, The Black Queens of Ghana 2-1 on aggregate in October 2021, while the Ivorians thrashed Niger republic 20-0 on aggregate.

English based players like Esther Okoronkwo, Vivian Ikechukwu Ashleigh Plumptre, Toni Payne, Michelle Alozie and Yetunde Aluko are all called up for the clash.
