Tribune reports that the state government has also called on Churches and Mosques in the state to procure sound proof equipment in order to minimise the effect of noise generated on other residents through the speakers they often mount on walls outside their buildings.

‎The General Manager of the Lagos State Environment Protection Agency (LASEPA), Adebola Shabi, gave the warning when he spoke with newsmen, saying that the decision on noise pollution came on the heels of increasing rate of petitions by residents.
