The Warriors follow the footsteps of other dynasties to cement their place in history.
Upon winning the title the comparison between Curry and LeBron James was inevitable.
Fans of both players took to social media as Curry now has four titles tied with James.
The narrative about James has catapulted him into a conversation with the cream of the crop of basketball greats.
James is compared to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Michael Jordan two iconic figures that shaped the modern day basketball
Curry vs James
Curry has four championships in 13 seasons compared to James' four in 19 seasons.
The path to glory however could not be any different as Curry is the symbol of the revamped Golden State Warriors while James had a tour of greatness with the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Curry was drafted by the Warriors back in 2009 after several years in college while LeBron came into the league after high school as the self proclaimed 'Chosen One'.
Both players were born in Akron Ohio, and have played integral roles in the modification to the modern day game.
Curry however would be remembered as the pivotal player of this generation as time goes on.
The 34-year-old Curry may have the same amount of titles as James but its the path which sets the distinction between the two players.
Curry back on top
James was drafted by his hometown of Cleveland and after seven years opted to joins forces with several all-stars to win two titles in Miami.
As Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh declined, James returned to Cleveland to win their only championship in franchise history but swiftly left for the Lakers once again.
At the Lakers he has his fourth title and is already facing the issues that plagued his previous teams.
Curry on the other hand was drafted, developed by the Warriors and led the team to their first Championship in forty years.
In his lowest moment losing from a 3-1 lead to the Cavaliers in 2016, Curry did not bail on his team but opted to recruit another star in Kevin Durant to join the Warriors..
After Durant left, the Warriors were the worst team in the league and Curry did not take the easy way out.
He stuck with his team and two-years later they are back on top of the NBA.
Not only does Curry have four titles he has a good team filled with young players full of potential in James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga, Jordan Poole and Moses Moody that can help sustain his excellence to possibly add more titles going forward.
Curry and Jordan
While James no doubt beats Curry in personal achievements it is the Warriors guard who will rank higher as time goes on.
Curry's imprint shooting the ball from distance is already the foundation for success in NBA.
James with his drive for immediate success was able to stack up championships but his history of leaving every franchise will tarnish his legacy.
Curry on the other hand will be remembered just like Michael Jordan leader of the dynastic Chicago Bulls.
