The film academy held a short film competition, and presented awards to deserving students of its academy.

Royal Arts recently announced "Spotlight" – a three-pronged Youth Empowerment Initiative that comprises of the Spotlight Short Film Contest, The Spotlight Movie, and the Spotlight Movie Awards.

In the Spotlight Short Film Contest, students of the academy who have shot short films of not more than 10 minutes, had ten of the best films judged by a jury comprising of producers, actors, directors and screenwriters.

The final ten (10) films were chosen from the lot and uploaded on Royal Arts Academy’s YouTube page for public viewing and voting.

The winning short film was announced at the movie premiere of undefined a feature movie produced by Royal Arts Academy for its students and for which the short film contest is named.
