Francisco Trincão has reportedly reached a salary agreement with Saudi club Al Ahli, as exclusively learned by A BOLA. This crucial step completes the transfer puzzle for the Sporting winger's move to the Jeddah-based club, with an official announcement expected soon.

Sporting is set to receive approximately 45 million euros, comprising fixed fees and easily achievable variables. Trincão, on the other hand, will command an annual salary ranging between 10 and 12.5 million euros, under a four-year contract.

It's worth recalling that the Lions had already reached an understanding with Al Ahli last weekend. The only remaining hurdle was the 26-year-old player's approval, who had been holding out for a Premier League offer that ultimately never materialized.

The now former number 17 bids farewell to Sporting with an impressive record: 208 appearances, 47 goals, and 51 assists. He leaves Alvalade with a distinguished trophy cabinet, including two league titles (2023/24 and 2024/25) and one Portuguese Cup. His last season, marking his fourth stint at Alvalade, was particularly stellar, as he netted 13 goals and provided 15 assists in 54 official matches. However, his recent individual performance at the World Cup for Portugal didn't go as planned, with him only featuring for 26 minutes.
