Sporting: Kochorashvili Cleared for Sevilla Move

Giorgi Kochorashvili has officially received Sporting's clearance to travel to Spain, finalizing his transfer to Sevilla.

While the two clubs reached a fundamental agreement on Wednesday, as reported by A BOLA, bureaucratic procedures extended the process. It was only this Friday morning that the Georgian international was released from training at Alcochete.

Given the timing, it's unlikely Kochorashvili will be available for Sevilla coach Luis García's squad for Saturday's match against Athletic Bilbao.

Nevertheless, the deal is sealed, with Sporting set to receive €4.5 million for the midfielder. This figure could potentially increase based on performance-related add-ons stipulated in the agreement.

Kochorashvili was initially signed from Levante for €5.5 million. Sporting also paid an additional €1 million after securing a spot in the Champions League, a clause included in his original transfer agreement.

The midfielder made 26 appearances for Sporting, though only nine were starts. He did not score any goals but contributed with two assists.
