TV pilot ordered by TNT
A TV series based on the 2013 sci-fi feature film "Snowpiercer" is truly coming your way.
TNT has officially ordered a pilot for a thriller TV series based on the critically acclaimed sci-fi film written by Bong Joon-ho.
The TV series is scripted by screenwriter Josh Friedman, who co-wrote the forthcoming "Avatar 2."
Bong and Dooho Choi will executive produce alongside Becky Clements and Tomorrow Studios’ Marty Adelstein, who has purchased rights to the upcoming series from Korea’s CJ Entertainment and Media.

The series is set seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, and the remnants of humanity inhabit a gigantic, perpetually moving train that circles the globe where issues of class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival are questioned.
The feature film which was an adaptation of Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette’s French graphic novel “Le Transperceneige,” stars Chris Evans, Song Kang-ho, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, John Hurt, and Ed Harris.
