Sha'Carri Richardson, Christian Coleman Share Heartwarming Moment After Shock Day Off
American sprinters Sha'Carri Richardson and Christian Coleman enjoyed a surprise day off for Thanksgiving, celebrating with teammates after their coach, Dennis Mitchell, called an unexpected break from their rigorous training schedule.
Both athletes, who train under the three-time Olympic medalist at the Star Athletics Track Club in Florida, have been active during their off-season.
Coleman shared a video on social media showing Richardson and other athletes dancing joyfully upon hearing the news of the holiday break. In the clip, Richardson was seen wearing blue jeans and a peach backless top.
As reported by SportsKeeda, the duo last competed at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo this past September. Both Richardson and Coleman anchored their respective teams to gold medals in the 4x100m relay events for the United States.
Richardson and Coleman confirmed their relationship in 2024, making their first public appearance as a couple at the USATF Night of Legends. Coleman marked the occasion by posting a video highlighting Richardson's distinctive nails as they held hands.
Their relationship has also faced public challenges. Earlier this year, before the 2025 USATF Championships, Richardson was arrested for allegedly assaulting Coleman at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Security footage captured a heated argument where Richardson followed Coleman, bumped into him, and threw a pair of headphones at him.
Days after the incident, Richardson issued a public apology and expressed her love for Coleman. He subsequently forgave her and has supported her through the ensuing difficulties.
