Sevilla secured a 2-0 home victory over Osasuna in Round 10 of La Liga. Goals from Isaac Romero (24') and Felix Correia (82') sealed the points for the Andalusians. Youssouf Fofana played a pivotal role in the triumph, providing two assists, most notably a sublime backheel flick for the opener.
Both sides fashioned good chances during the opening exchanges, but Felix Correia, Ante Budimir, and Kike Salas all failed to convert.
The hosts broke the deadlock in the 24th minute through a slick combination inside the penalty area. Fofana received the ball and delivered a stylish backheel to find Isaac Romero, who struck first-time past the goalkeeper.
Aitor Fernandez was called into action again in the 41st minute, parrying a diagonal effort from Chidera Ejuke to keep the visitors' deficit at one heading into the break.
The scoreline remained unchanged in the second half until the 82nd minute, when Sevilla launched a swift counter-attack. Fofana drove forward to the edge of the box and played in Felix Correia, who sidestepped a defender and produced a precise finish to make it 2-0.
The win brings an end to Sevilla's three-match winless run in the league, lifting them to sixth place on 17 points. Osasuna remain 12th with 11 points.
