Serbian coach Nenad Jakovljević spoke to the media following his team Virtus's victory over Tortona (74-69), also commenting on the performance of Iago dos Santos.

Virtus secured a narrow victory in the Italian league, with the Bologna-based powerhouse defeating Tortona after a dramatic finish.

Brazilian player Iago dos Santos, who recently left Crvena zvezda to join the Italian club, had an excellent game.

He finished the match with 12 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Following the game, Serbian coach Nenad Jakovljević, who is on the Virtus bench, commented on his contribution.

He praised dos Santos' performance and how quickly he has integrated into the team.

Dos Santos? We won. When you win, it's easier to assess the impact. Iago helped the team. My job today was probably to calm him down and keep him composed and focused so he could help the squad. Iago was very eager to win the game and start this journey with us. He played nearly 25 minutes of top-quality basketball, especially considering he arrived just a week ago and had only one team practice.Nenad Jakovljević
