Serbia loses another gem! He's off to America, and his college destination is known

The trend of Serbian players heading to America continues, with Luka Savanović set to become the latest to pursue his career in the NCAA.

Last season, Serbia had 44 players competing in college basketball, a number expected to significantly increase this season.

Savanović, who played for Vojvodina in the Serbian Basketball League last season, is following in the footsteps of many before him, taking his talents to the NCAA. He was also previously part of Mega's youth selections.

As Luka himself announced on social media, he will be playing for the Campbell Fighting Camels in the CAA (Coastal Athletic Association) conference.

At the U20 European Championship in Crete last season, where Serbia finished fourth, Savanović averaged 11.9 points per game, along with five rebounds, two assists, and just over two steals.
