Second New Signing of the Day for Manchester United: Tielemans Joins the Red Devils

Manchester United has officially announced their second signing of the day. Following the earlier acquisition of Welsh goalkeeper Karl Darlow, the Red Devils have now secured Aston Villa midfielder Youri Tielemans.

The Belgian international arrives at Old Trafford for a fee of £35 million, matching his release clause. He has penned a five-year contract, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2031.

Tielemans also delivered a strong performance at the World Cup, scoring two goals in five appearances for the 'Red Devils' – a nickname also shared by his national team.

Tielemans is expected to fill the void left by the departed Brazilian Casemiro in midfield. Manchester United has also bolstered their midfield with the signing of Andrey Santos from Chelsea.
