Saraki and other dignitaries, including the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, and the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Muhammadu Bashir, were stoned by supposed civil servants who were angry at the non-payment of their salaries.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki was, today, September 24, 2015, attacked at the Eid praying ground in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Saraki and other dignitaries, including the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari and the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Muhammadu Bashir, were stoned by supposed civil servants who were angry at the non-payment of their salaries.
