Singer accused of texting gay writer's partner

Is Sam Smith trying to wreck a gay couple's home? This could be so true!

Screenwriter Dustin Lance Black has called out Smith on Twitter for secretly texting his fiance.

Well, apparently Sam has been texting with Dustin’s fiance, Olympic diver Tom Daley. "Hey @SamSmithWorld, if you have no idea who I am, it may be time to stop texting my fiancé. Here’s a start,” Dustin tweeted, along with a link to the YouTube video of his 2009 Oscar acceptance speech.

The openly gay 41-year-old director/screenwriter who won a Best Original Screenplay Academy Award back in 2009 for his movie 'Milk' also had a problem with Smith's acceptance speech for Best Song win at  the 2016 Oscars.

In Sam‘s speech on February 28, he proclaimed that he thought he may have been the first openly gay male to win an Oscar.
