Sony Pictures Entertainment is developing the 2010 spy thriller, "Salt," as a TV show.

According to The Wrap, Sony is selling it to buyers and co-production partners at the European Film Market at the Berlin Film Festival.

The original film grossed over $293 million worldwide, and starred Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber, Daniel Olbrychski, August Diehl and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

The movie starred Jolie as Evelyn Salt, who is accused of being a Russian Sleeper agent and goes on the run to try to clear her name.

Originally written with a male protagonist (Tom Cruise), the script was rewritten by Brian Helgeland for Jolie.
