Nigerian pop star, Runtown is the latest Nigerian and African musician to speak at Harvard University.

During his recently concluded tour in the United States, he was invited as a guest to a special interaction with Harvard African Student Association, at the Harvard University, where he spoke on the emergence of African music and pop culture influence across the world.

Before the speech,  Runtown received an inspirational shout out from Grammy-nominated super producer Nana Kwabena who has made smash hit joints for stars like Jidenna, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Janelle Monae, John Legend and more.

Runtown who is one of the leaders of the new African sound emphasized on the need for collaboration between African stars and international pop stars. He also urged international record companies to invest more in the structure and growth of music on the African continent.
