"We are focused and have worked well to arrive in the best possible shape for this match. We know it will be very difficult; we had the experience of playing here recently, so we know the challenges ahead. But we are extremely focused and ambitious because we want to leave here with a win," he began by telling Sport TV, playing down the situation.

"It's just another game for us. We know our main objective is staying completely locked in on this match. With just over an hour to kickoff, our full focus is on the game and what we need to deliver on the pitch," he added, anticipating a tough test.

"Without a doubt, it's going to be very tough, just like in Norway. Nordic sides bring a very physical game, but they have also evolved in their technical quality. They make life difficult for anyone. We are Portugal, and whenever we step onto the pitch, it is always to win," he concluded.

Speaking to RTP, the number 21 stated that now is not the time to discuss Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from the training camp. "We are all consummate professionals, especially today knowing kickoff is just around the corner, and we are very focused. There will be time to talk about those matters, but today we are strictly focused on Denmark. We have to be at 100 per cent," he pointed out.
