Road To Redemption: Wizkid Make Surprise Appearance At Banky W’s Concert

<strong>Banky W</strong>’s ‘Grand Love Project’ concert held on Friday, 15 February 2013 at the Civic Center, Victoria Island Lagos. It spotted a number of attractions, guests and the glitterati of the Nigeria music circles. Comedian <strong>Seyi Law</strong> kept things ticking nicely as the MC of the show.

And then came Wizkid. With his girlfriend Tani on his arm, and a towering security guard following closely, the 22-year old superstar walked in with little fanfare. His was the most unlikely of appearances due to widespread reports of his rift with Banky W, and his disengagement with EME music record label.

He received neither acknowledgement from fans nor the host, Banky W. Even Seyi Law made no mention of him.

At precisely 1:10 am, Wizkid was seen leaving with his entourage. He rode away in a red BMW car with plate number ‘W’, accompanied by two jeeps and some security personnel.
