Ayo's remains will be interred at Ebony vaults Ikoyi, Lagos. The popular actress lost her daughter after a long-term battle with sickle cell anemia.

The sad incident was reported on Sunday, July 2, 2017. Meanwhile, Pulse Celebs reached out to the actress' representative, Emiralty, who said the actress is coping with her loss.

According to him, "she's doing fine. Remi Surutu is doing fine. thank you so much." When asked about the burial arrangements he said, "we are yet to conclude arrangements on that hopefully later today we should know the bearing."

Remi Oshodi Surutu, lost her daughter, Ayo, after a sickle cell crisis at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).

The sad passing away of the young lady was announced on social media by Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi who expressed his shock.
