Red Star Targets NBA Talent: US Golden Boy Eyed by Mali Kalemegdan

According to "Meridian Sport," the club from Mali Kalemegdan is in advanced negotiations with the American basketball player, and a deal could be finalized soon.

Baldwin Jr. has played 103 NBA games over the past four years, representing the Golden State Warriors, Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Clippers, and Sacramento Kings.

Baldwin was once a five-star college recruit and later became the youngest player to receive an offer from the prestigious Duke University. He was also a member of the US national youth teams, winning the FIBA U19 World Cup in 2021.

He was then selected 28th overall in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Warriors, but he struggled to find his footing in the league and often sought playing time in the G-League.

Red Star Meridianbet has already confirmed three new signings this summer: Chris Jones, David Kramer, and Jonathan Motley. Vojin Merdarević is also expected to be announced as the first domestic reinforcement for Ibon Navarro's squad.
