Barcelona winger Raphinha commented on the team's dominant 7-2 home victory over Racing Santander in the sixth round of the Spanish league. The Catalan giants secured their seventh consecutive win across all competitions, marking the club's best start to a season in its history.
“The players always have an insatiable hunger for more. It’s a mentality – they constantly strive to score more goals and create more scoring opportunities. It’s always crucial to remember that we need to improve in certain areas. I’ll never claim to have reached my peak because I’m always pushing to get better. There’s definitely more I can bring to the team beyond what I’m currently contributing,” stated the 29-year-old Brazilian.
Barcelona boasts an impressive 33:7 goal difference across all competitions so far, with Raphinha accounting for a third of those goals. The Brazilian forward netted a hat-trick against Racing. Of his 11 goals, nine have come in the Spanish league, where he currently leads the scoring charts.
