Rafa Leão's Future Remains Undecided

Forward Rafael Leão has yet to decide his future, with his current club AC Milan reportedly open to offers from Aston Villa or Galatasaray, despite the player's preference for the Premier League, according to Portuguese newspaper Record. The Milan giants were forced to lower their initial asking price from €60 million to around €50 million. Both Aston Villa and Galatasaray are prepared to meet this valuation through various means, meaning the final decision ultimately rests with the player.

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has been actively trying to persuade Leão, reportedly calling him directly to outline the Birmingham club's project. The Portuguese international has already indicated that he believes the Premier League is a better fit for his playing style than Serie A. However, Milan is not entirely satisfied with Villa's proposal, which involves a loan deal with an obligation to buy at the end of the season. In contrast, Galatasaray is ready to pay the full €45 million upfront, plus an additional €5 million in bonuses.
