Khali Abdu & VHS Safari confident their type of sound will be accepted

In their Pulse TV exclusive interview, Kahli Abdu and VHS Safari spoke about their type of music and if it will be accepted in Nigeria.

They believe that their style of music will be relevant in Nigeria's pop dominated music scene. Speaking for the group, Will said "I think a lot of Nigerians are going to like it a lot. Is it going to be bumping in the clubs? No. That's not what we've been making. I am not going to say we are not going to produce Nigerian club bangers, cos we might but as far as what we put out, what we make under our name as a group we have a sound that will appeal to Nigerians" he said.

Will further stated that "We are not only from New York but our vision is on the whole world. We want to make a big impact here but we don't need to be the biggest artistes in Nigeria." Kahli Abdu and VHS Safari is an afro-electro group/band formed in Brooklyn, NY and now based in Lagos.
