Danish journalists discuss social media and modern urbanization in Nigeria

Two Danish journalists based in Copenhagen, Sune Gudmondsson and Lasse Emsler, were recently in the Pulse TV studio, to discuss their ongoing media research on social media and urbanization in Nigeria PulseTV host, Misi Molu.

During the interview, the journalists stated that they were in Nigeria to observe the Nigerian social media scene and the effects of rapid urbanization in the country. Their interest arose from Nigeria’s reputation as one of the fastest growing economies and its rapidly growing social reputation in the world.

They also stated the disparities they noticed between the Danish social media scene and the Nigerian social media scene, as well as some of the cultural differences that they noticed, amongst other things.
