Readers disagree with PDP's opinion that Fashola will fail as minister of housing

Last month, the Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola will failas the minister of works, power and housing.

According to Taofik Gani, Fasholawill fail as because he is not an achiever.

“Can  point to any low-cost housing scheme he did in his eight years as governor? The houses he built under the cost about N15m on average. Can the – which cost hundreds of millions of naira to buy – be classified as affordable housing? Can  be compared with former Governor who built over 20,000 housing units in four years?
