...and thus life we call ours; working, schooling, marriage etc is us trying our best to save time."
“Tick, tock, ding, dong”; the sound of life as she sways by…
Swiftly and
she rustles,
Not a respecter of persons
Her walk sometimes mean and proud
And sometimes nice and graceful;

A walk of something needed.
Albert Einstein described time as relative, and the concept of the past, present and future as illusions- "Since there exists in this four dimensional structure [space-time] no longer any sections which represent "now" objectively, the concepts of happening and becoming are indeed not completely suspended, but yet complicated. It appears therefore more natural to think of physical reality as a four dimensional existence, instead of, as hitherto, the evolution of a three dimensional existence."
I have come to discover that in growing and dying, having and losing, creating and destroying... time is just a terrain in between, and this life we call ours; working, schooling, marriage etc is us trying our best to save time.
I can remember my fifteenth birthday as clearly as I can see the back of my hand. I'd probably tell you sixteen if asked my age, wasn't it just yesterday I was that young? I could almost swear to be 'that young'. Wasn't even seem that long ago 2017 wss all bouncy and kicky, where did all of 2018 go as the calender informs me that we are in the ninth month.
Connectivity.
"Who the fuvk was so jobless and thought to create schools?" A classmate of mine once cried out in desperation whilst trying to understand a topic and the educational system as a whole. We all laughed it off calling him lazy. It would be a few years later before I fully grasped the impact of his words.
What if there were no schools? No definite time system? - no creche, no kindergarten, no grade shools, no college? What if no one had to work? What if every kid was nurtured with the idea of survival and making money independently from an early age? What would we do with all the time in the world? How would such a system work?
We are here for interconnectivity and our full potential is never fully realized without relating with one another. Our time system and roles modified to suit our world has become the bridge between order and disorder.

Save. Time.
The duty of saving time then falls on us all. Saving time- The thin line between time as a gift and as a responsibility.
'Yesterday', 'tomorrow', 'today', 'next month', 'last week'... All our hopes and aspirations, promises and past built on a factor only we can save.
Each guilt, each regret, each fault, every success, every breakthrough…saving time.
Ready?
With remembrance, we cash on time saved. For a wink of an eye, for a nanosecond or less, time stops.
Remembrance
So, remember, to save time a day at a time- a moment at a time. Save it reading something not even related to your field, save it by taking risks and learning new things; a new language could be a wonderful idea, kiss that guy, smile at that neighbor, have fun.
One day, some day, a not so little kid stops to give you a lift, your neighbor's son drops by to patiently teach you the use of your new gadgets, your daughter sheds a tear because her father is old and grey- then you will be glad to have saved time. Because the little kid might be the one who you once fed leftovers to when you could have poured it into your trash can, your neighbor's son remembers a days' candy and your daughter remembers how agile her father used to be.
