Biafran started way before I was born, most of what I know about the Nigerian civil war are from books, documentary, interviews and movies. I saw pictures of children of war on the internet, the pain in their eyes created a perfect scene of what happened during the turmoil. I saw pictures of dead and hungry kids, i saw pictures of how women were raped and death of the bread winners in war front.

Political issues are not my interest when it comes to book reviews but i asked myself, when will the time come for me to share light on information that will shape the minds of people when it comes to issues like this? “MY Thoughts On The Biafran Agitations” By; Pastor Sunday Adelaja, the founder and senior pastor of the Embassy of God, an evangelical-charismatic megachurch in Kiev, Ukraine who immigrated to the USSR and Belarus as a scholarship student from Nigeria in 1986 to study journalism spark the fire in me on this issue.

While writing this review, I spoke with some of my Igbo friends on what their thoughts are on the BIAFRAN AGITATIONS, some of them showed their support while others didn't.  One of them said the igbo people are being deprived of a lot of things in Nigeria, he said they are not being carried along in the matter that has to do with the nation, that the New Government of Nigeria did not select somebody as a minister that fully represent the Igbo people.

Sunday the author of this books also reminded us that “ people agitating for the Biafra Republic, who are mainly from the Igbo tribe are some of our most talented people. In my opinion, which I believe most Nigerians would agree with, Igbos are the most enterprising people in our nation. Their culture has become our culture no matter which part of the country you come from .

Another Igbo friend that I spoke with said ”ToluBooks, i don't know anything about Biafran Agitations but what i know is that we don't need it, this is not what this nation need now and we are good the way we are as one Nigeria.” he also pointed out that the people rising this issue are sponsored by the rich Igbos who are in or outside the country that has anything to loss.

Sunday Adelaja’s thoughts gave an insight into some history about Nigeria and Biafran nation that some Igbo leaders, Nigerian leaders and the young men who will be at the war front line need to know. he said “The Nigerian society we grew up in, starting from our independence, has not been a fulfillment of the dream and passion of the majority of us, either you are Igbo, Yoruba, Fulani, Tiv, Idoma, Angas, Berom, etc. We have all been deprived. We have all been oppressed, we have all been cheated, we have all been let down and we have all been deceived.”

The e-book, My Thoughts On The Biafran Agitations! By; Sunday Adelaja has four different parts all in one. There is a part in the book where the author shared his views about the Igbo people, he also shined the post light on the fact that Biafran is already existing and pointed out groups like the Kurdish people, the Palestinian people, the Tutsi people, the  South Sudan, and some other people who have their marginalization what there are experiencing and groups like the Basque In Spain, the Kurdish In Turkey, Northern Ireland In Great Britain, Guadeloupe and Basque In France, and so many others who are fighting for marginalization.

For the history student,Igbos and other people in Nigeria this book will educate you and add to what you were told or  what you read about the History of Biafran, it’s a good book that should be read in school, organization and in different homes in Nigeria. The beauty and power of this nation lies in our population and diversity, we are doing more together nothing can be achieved in isolation.

So who really loses in the case of Nigeria's break up? the author said “ The Igbos would indeed be the ultimate losers and this is not sentiment at all. First of all, If Niger Delta South-South states don’t go with Biafra, the Igbo nation will be landlocked. Which means they will have no access to the sea, neither will they have direct access to the outside world by road. The nation will be forced to again rely on Nigeria to gain access to the sea, because it is only Nigeria and Cameroon that will border the Igbo land.”
