Affection [Writer's contest 3]

Your hands fits in mine like it's made for me. Past may scare you but so does the future. The past is gone the present is already here. The only thing that can be changed is the future. Pain demands to be felt but so does love. I won't say I always think about you cause that's a lie but when my mind wanders away it comes back. I don't know if it's your beautiful face or your priceless smile or your hard to get attitude but I'm falling for it and I'm falling hard. I can remember your first smile, your first laugh.

I have never loved anyone like the way I love you. The way I feel about you is something you read in books or watch in movies cause it's hard to find. You're the treasure I have been looking for and now that I have found you I won't let go. I know I have my flaws but you tolerate me even when I try to push my luck. Our love is like from the moon and back its that far. You might not be perfect to yourself and others but you're perfect for me. You're the epitome of beauty. Somewhere between the laughs, the stupid little jokes, the flirting, the long talks I fell in love. But I'm scared to accept cause I have a feeling you're out of my league. People also say it also.

I'm always scared that you would replace me with someone better once you realize how much of a waste of time I am that's why I love easily get jealous. It's not jealousy its fear. I have tried long enough to hide the fact I have a heart while I'm dying inside. You adorn my life. You add more meaning, more life, more color to my dull, gray, meaningless life. You don't take me to nirvana you're my nirvana. I fall in love with you more and more every day. You're my world you're the reason I wake up every morning with a smile on my face. You're the reason that I know my day would be wonderful cause I would see your face.

Every night when I'm worried and sad I always think "till tomorrow it will be fine cause I would see her". Time cannot measure love but the moments you spend with the person you love. The smiles, the laughs, the arguments and everything about the time we spend together is special to me even if it's for a split second. Late night staring to the stars. Cause I know you're among them. She is the beauty in the simplicity which was my life. She makes me want to be a better person cause.

She's a queen and deserves a king by her side. But we are in an ocean of love and we are on different boats. Which need two to row. Asking her to join mine is being self-centered. So why don't we row back and build a new boat together. Cause that way we can say we started it from dust.
