Chelsea were dealt a reminder that the Premier League title is not theirs yet as they beaten 2-1 at home by Crystal Palace. The defeat confirmed fears of Antonio Conte who has been warning his team not to relax in the title challenge. He, however, does not need to panic as Chelsea are still on course to win the 2017 league title.

In the 2-1 defeat, Chelsea did everything right but conceded two goals. Palace defended with everything they had, preventing the better team Chelsea from scoring an equaliser. Conte can take solace in the fact that his men played better football and created lots of goalscoring chances. This loss should be a wake-up call, nothing to panic about.

2. Chelsea 1 Vs Crystal Palace 2: Sakho shows Klopp’s mistake

Mamadou Sakho was clearly the man of the match as Crystal Palace got a surprise 2-1 win at Premier League leaders Chelsea. The former Liverpool man has impressive for Palace since he joined them in the January transfer window. He left Liverpool after falling out with manager Jurgen Klopp last summer but his display against Chelsea shows Klopp might have made a mistake.

Liverpool are a good defence away from actually challenging properly for the title. Sakho returns to Anfield in the summer and with his impressive form for Palace so far, Klopp might have a rethink. Maybe, just maybe.

3. Burnley 0 Vs Tottenham 2: Time for Spurs to threaten Chelsea

Spurs were too strong for Burnley, coming out 2-0 winners at Turf Moor, Burnley to put more pressure on leaders Chelsea. Tottenham winning comfortably at a very tough ground shows how strong they have become this season. With Chelsea leading with just seven points, Spurs have the chance to make this league interesting again.

They have to prove that they are no fluke by properly challenging for the title and pouncing if Chelsea drop more points.

4. Hull City 2 Vs West Ham 1: Silva making case for a big job

Hull City continue their quest for relegation survival with a 2-1 win over West Ham. Manager  Marco Silva has not lost a home game in three years and his fantastic job at Hull City so far shows he is ready to take over a big job.

His tactical change in the second half turned the game around for Hull City. If he manages a relegation escape for Hull City, he sure needs move to a bigger side.

5. Arsenal 2 Vs Manchester 2:  Both sides shows why they are not in Premier League title conversations

Arsenal and Manchester City played out a 2-2 draw in a game that should have had more goals. Arsenal throughout the game were open in their usual manner and could not defend properly. Pep Guardiola’s City started with seven forwards and Jesus Navas in right back. Against a better team, they would have been torn apart, instead, they have every right to feel unlucky with the draw.

The result shows why both teams are not challenging for the title.
