The Pramac Yamaha MotoGP team has announced its separation from Jack Miller at the end of the 2026 season, a move that will almost certainly mark the end of the Australian's career as a factory rider in the premier class.

Rumors of a split between Miller and Paolo Campinoti's team have circulated for several months, and today the news becomes official. This concludes Miller's second stint with the team after just two years. He previously raced for Pramac from 2018-2020, though at that time the team partnered with Ducati, not Yamaha.

Miller's spot at Pramac Yamaha is expected to be filled by the team's current Moto2 rider, Izan Guevara. The 2022 Moto3 world champion will thus become Toprak Razgatlioglu's teammate as MotoGP ushers in its new 850cc era. As for Miller, the Australian is most likely headed to the World Superbike Championship (WSBK), though it remains unclear whether he will stay within the Yamaha fold or switch to another manufacturer.
