Peseiro led the Super Eagles to a draw in a test match against the Algerian home-based team preparing for the African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The team followed that up with a 1-2 loss to the Dessert Foxes of Algeria in a friendly fixture that took place in Oran.

During the next international break, the Super Eagles are set to face off against Portugal team bound to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in their next friendly fixture.

Peseiro on Super Eagles vs Portugal

After the loss to Algeria, Peseiro is already looking forward to the game against Portugal.

Portugal will face the Super Eagles to prepare for the World Cup group game against the Black Stars of Ghana.

Peseiro has now lost three of his five competitive outings with the Super Eagles but is hopeful of a positive result against Portugal.
