Bosses are tired of hearing excuses for why employees are late to work or for spouses, why partners show up late for dinner and for teachers, why some kids come very late to school.

So, instead of giving excuses like, "I am sorry, I am late", "It's stupid of me", "It's the traffic, I am so sorry," maybe you should focus on these simple tips on how to avoid lateness.
1.) Create your time zone so as to blame yourself whenever you are late or make your friends understand how you roll.
2.) Shock your friends by showing up on time. It’s a good feeling seeing their surprised gestures when they come after you.
3.) Stop making plans. Become a Hermit. Hermits don’t need time

4.) Go to bed fully dressed and in your make up so the next day, you dont have to worry about it.
5.) Stay up the night before an early morning appointment. May be a bad idea but the fear of lateness could keep you awake anyways.
6.) Try sleeping in the bathtub. Its ridiculous but you might actually wake up before you end up drowning in a pool of water. If no water, the coolness of the tub will wake you.
7.) Learn how to multitask so that lateness is wiped off the picture completely when you are busy.
8.) Use an alarm clock. Yes, use one!

9.) Create a list of plausible excuses should in case you are late. Avoid a query.
10.) Just lie. Not advisable but it could work!
11.) Ask your partner, parent or sibling to wake you up on time
12.) Set all your clocks - alarm, watch and phone - an hour ahead of the scheduled time.
