The Minister of Sports Dr. Tammy Danagogo had a meeting with the Federation president Alhaji Aminu Maigari in Brazil, he charged all concerned parties to negotiate an agreement to avoid a seeming disaster at the World Cup.
Dr. Danagogo also advised the federation to take into consideration the paramount responsibility owed the Super eagles as Welfare, judging that the poor treatment of the players might cause an upset that could lead to a poor performance in the tournament.
“ if we do not treat them well and make them happy, they may just go into the tournament and perform badly and ensure that we pack our bags and return,'' Dr. Danagogo said.
The team arrived Sao Paulo late Tuesday evening and are expected to get in top gear for Group F opener against Iran.
