The lying in state ceremony of the actor who died of Kidney failure at the age of 63 on May 7, 2017, was attended by his family members and close friends.

Before his passing,'Pastor Ajidara'  whose real name is Adeshina Adesanya, was the governor of the Association of Theatre Arts and Movie Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Ogun State.

He is popular for his roles in the movies, "Agbeku abela" (2009) and "Ologbo Iya Ijebu" (2007).
