KK Partizan is fully aware of this case, and all procedures are being followed as per standard protocol. The current ban will be lifted very soon, as it was a necessary step in relation to the approved FIBA repayment plan. Yes, this concerns Kevin Punter's personal tax, the details of which we will not disclose. However, we have appealed this decision to the Swiss Federal Court. Given that this is the first time in our club's history that we have appealed to the Swiss Federal Court, we believe this sufficiently explains our stance and opinion on this BAT decision. Nevertheless, our appeal does not delay the enforcement of the BAT decision. In the meantime, we will ensure the normal functioning of the club, which includes the lifting of the FIBA ban. BAT Suspends Partizan

Partizan is among the clubs sanctioned by the BAT, specifically due to outstanding obligations to Kevin Punter amounting to approximately 170,000 euros.

Partizan now finds itself on the list of sanctioned clubs. Court documents indicate that Punter's earnings for the 2023/24 season were approximately 2,000,000 euros net. Although he had a contract for the 2024/25 season, he transferred to Barcelona in the summer of 2024.

Partizan maintained that it was not obligated to pay the "personal annual income tax," which applies to individuals whose earnings exceed three times the average annual salary in the Republic of Serbia.

Citing this argument, the club withheld two payments totaling approximately 300,000 euros, later paying the player half of that amount.

Ultimately, Punter won the dispute, along with an annual interest rate of 5% and an additional 20,000 euros for legal and arbitration costs.
