Following the conclusion of the ABA League's Top 8 phase, Dubai and Partizan were still awaiting their quarter-final opponents. Now, for the black-and-whites, that uncertainty has been resolved.
In a play-in clash, mirroring the EuroLeague format, the seventh and eighth-placed teams faced off. The seventh-placed team hosted the match, and Bosna capitalized on their home advantage, defeating Igokea. This victory secured their spot against Partizan in the quarter-finals.
The encounter was decided after a dramatic finish. Despite Igokea holding a narrow lead entering the final two minutes (72-73), the home side unleashed an 8-1 run to seal the game in their favor.
Edin Atić was outstanding for the winning team, tallying 17 points and ten rebounds. Jerod West contributed 13 points, while Janari Joesar finished with 11. For Igokea, Strahinja Gavrilović led with 18 points, Nikola Popović added 12, and Nate Pierre-Louis chipped in with 10.
