Paris Basketball secured another domestic league victory with a comfortable win over Strasbourg in the French capital, but the EuroLeague side was left sweating on the fitness of their key player.
Nadir Hifi was forced off just a minute into the fourth quarter after sustaining a left ankle injury.
The dynamic guard did not return to the floor, and of major concern for head coach Maxime Lefevre, Hifi was seen visibly limping following the contest.
The situation will be monitored closely by Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet, who are set to host Paris in Friday's Round 6 matchup. Prior to that, Zvezda travel to face ASVEL while Paris take on Virtus Bologna, and question marks remain over whether Hifi will be fit in time for the showdown in Belgrade.
His absence would undoubtedly provide a massive boost to Zvezda's chances of claiming victory.
