Osinbajo was accompanied by Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed and Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and received by Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

The Acting President conducted an inspection of the Kaduna Airport in preparation of the closure of the Abuja International Airport on March 8.

Flights to Abuja will be diverted to Kaduna for six weeks to enable the government conduct repairs on the damaged runway at the international airport.

Osinbajo will also inspect the Abuja -Rigasa Railway terminal link road to the airport during his visit.
