Oshoala, Oparazonie lead Super Falcons to 2018 Women's AFCON

The 23 players selected by the Super Falcons coach will be the players to defend the title that the country won in 2016.

The team have been in campaign since October and participated in several friendly games including a 3-2 loss to .

The Super Falcons were camped in Jubilee Chalets and Resort in Epe for several weeks and according to a statement by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)  they will intensify their preparations for the tournament at Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire.

The tea will be camped at the ASEC Mimosas FC academy, Sol Beni, where two players will be sent home before the final squad is named for the tournament.

The Super Falcons are drawn along with South Africa, Kenya, and Zambia in group B of the 2018 AWCON.

The Super Falcons are the number one team in Africa and will hope to defend their title when the tournament kicks off from Saturday, September 17 till Saturday, December 11 across Ghanaian cities Accra and Cape Coast.
