This lucrative move is primarily a result of his phenomenal saves for the debutant Cape Verde, which ultimately propelled him into the fan-voted dream team of the recent championship.

He managed to keep a clean sheet against eventual world champions Spain in a goalless draw and, in a thrilling round of sixteen, he and his teammates held their own against silver medalists Argentina, pushing the match into extra time.

The president of the Chilean club Mosa openly admitted that this signing, beyond its deserved sporting recognition, also possesses significant marketing potential.

“Vozinha will be a Colo-Colo player. He will travel to Chile in the coming days, undergo standard medical examinations, and then be presented at Estadio Monumental,” confirmed the club chief.

Although the contract isn't yet 100% formally finalized, the South American club has already teased fans on social media with a post featuring the goalkeeper's iconic curls. Furthermore, the experienced African player will soon join a high-spirited locker room, as his new teammates recently secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Deportes Limache.
