Veteran music producer and singer, OJB Jezreel, 49, is dead. Babatunde Okungbowa aka OJB Jezreel is reported to have passed on an hour ago today, June 14, 2016.

Close sources revealed the music maestro who had a kidney transplant in 2013 failed last week and his family had to keep him on N35, 000 dialysis daily to overcome the relapse.

OJB sadly passes on a month to his 50th birthday. His body has been deposited in a morgue at Isolo General Hospital. OJB Jezreel suffered from a kidney ailment in 2013 and had a successful kidney transplant within the same year after several contributions from friends and artistes in the music industry.

2005 – “Jah My Life”

“Jah My Life” is OJB’s debut album, announcing the producer as a singer with a keen voice, and heart-rending lyrics. The album contains 6 tracks including the phenomenal ‘Searching’.

2006 – “Jah’s My Lite”

The next year brought another album as OJB came through with a 17-track LP with the similar-titling “Jah’s My Lite”. The album featured Rugggedman twice.

2006 – “No Drama”

Still in 2016, the producer came through with another LP titled “No Drama”. It contained the earlier released “Searching”, its remix in a bid to fully benefit from the singles’ buzz. It alos contained party single ‘Pretete’.

2008– “Jigga’s World”

2008 saw OJB return to the LP world, two years after his last body of work. The album had fresh sounds, and contained 16 tracks drawn from various genres and influences.

2011 – “J-World 2”

This album was released in 2011 and it belongs to Jazz, World Music genres. It contains 14 tracks with total duration of 56:41 minutes.

This album was released in 2011 and it belongs to World Music genres. It contains 12 tracks with total duration of 47:28 minutes.
