Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has revealed his desire to make history with his Championship side Watford by securing promotion to the English Premier League.

Watford are top of the Championship table with only two matches remain and have promotion to the English Premier League in their hands.

Ighalo who has been in revealed that his side 'cannot afford to miss out on making history.'

“We are where we want to be but we still need to win our next two finals,” the Lagos born striker.

“We have our promotion ticket in our hands and we cannot afford to miss out on making history.

“Right now the attitude is to do the perfect business by winning at Brighton and hopefully complete the job at home on the final day.

“When you are two games away from winning the league you don’t switch off, so our minds are focussed on what lies ahead.”
