According to Charles Novia, the new film is shooting on 35mm and has taken up to 3 years to gain its grounds. The crew is set to travel to the USA in October to shoot some of the major scenes. Novia has confirmed that Fransic Duru has been undergoing months of serious Fashek-character and guitar lessons to effectively fit into that role.

Francis Duru has proudly endorsed of Majek Fashek’s worldwide recognition and admitted to the legend’s public struggle with drugs and says, “a movie of his life and career has to meet a world class. I’m proud to be him even in a movie”.
This film is finally happening and we can’t wait to see its production and what the box office will be saying.
