Nigerian Players Vow To Hold Argentina

Super Eagles skipper Joseph Yobo has said that Lionel Messi is not the main priority but the whole of the Argentinian team when the two sides clash on Wednesday June 25.

Yobo pointed out that there are other players who could cause more catastrophy if overlooked.

“Messi is a legend. Unbelievable. But it is not just Messi. The whole team is good. But we know he can produce what he did against Iran, which was a difficult game,” Yobo declred

Midfielder Ogenyi Onazi also corroborated the words of the captain: “Messi is a normal human being. He is a football player. We have to create our strategy.”

Wednesday's game will be the 7th between the two side and 5th in FIFA organized competitions; Nigeria has won one, drew one and lost 4 in their previous meetings.
