He kissed me on the forehead and told me he was going,

But deep down inside I was good without knowing,
I looked out the window as he walked down the street,
Then he turned around and smiled with his teeth,
As soon as he turned around and gave me that grin,

I saw his life line becoming so thin,
I tired to warn him there was a truck within the mile,
But he couldn't hear me, he thought I was playing like a child,
The truck came near and took him away,
He died and left my heart in sorrow and pain,

Every time I think of that very September,
How I wish it was a day I would never remember.
