I am hated by my country

One which the venals rule
And Patriots are left to rot.
I live in pain because I alone can't bring change
If we don't act is there hope for change?

In my land I am seen as despicable
Because I am the odd one in this debacle.
I am hated by my country
Because I preach unity and sanity.

I am hated by my country
One which the old leads the young astray.
I live in a country which is depressive
For the land is highly perversive.
Is there hope for change?

In a land which the honest men are losers.
I am hated by my country
Because I stand by my pledge
To be faithful, loyal and honest.
