Beauty in the eyes

Beauty in the face

Beauty all around me

Is it really all in the outside?

No! I say

Look closely and you will see

Its not about the outside

That makes the inside beautiful

But the beauty inside that

Makes the outside

Aesthetically appreciated

Love the inside and

Make it worth it…

Because the inside is you

And the inside is your beauty.

Kenneth Mamman Alli is from Gombe state but raised in Kaduna. He graduated from the department of English, University of Maiduguri. His poems and write ups are mostly characterised with the use of Hausa language.
