NIBF, as abbreviatedly called, is an annual book trade and exhibition that creates an effective platform for the stakeholders in the book industry both within and outside Nigeria to network and have business interface for the growth of their respective businesses.

Well-packaged, well-organised, and consistent, The Nigeria International Book Fair comes up in every second week of May every year.

The 15th edition of Nigeria International Book Fair is scheduled to hold from Monday, May 9 through Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Multi-purpose halls of the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos state, Nigeria.

Publishers, booksellers and printers from America, Europe, Asia, and other African countries would join those in the country to take part in the fair.

Nigerian Book Fair Trust was incorporated in 1998 and enjoys the endorsement of the Federal Government of Nigeria and Education Trust Fund (ETF). The Trust has been growing from strength to strength and NIBF, which is the flagship of the Trust’s events, attracts over 160 exhibitors from Europe, America, Asia, other African Countries and across Nigeria.
