New Nike deal worth N796M
The new kit deal between the Nigeria Football Federation and sports giant Nike is reportedly worth N796M according to a new report.
Adidas decided not to extend its last contract with the NFF and the Amaju Pinnick led association last week sealed a new one with American sports wear company Nike.
According to the NFF, they will earn N743m ($3.75m) during the three-and-half-year partnership with Nike and a N99m ($500,000) bonus if the Super Eagles qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia among other added incentives.
The NFF will receive 148m ($750, 000) in the first year which will rise to N198m ($1m) (198m Naira) each year in the three-year-contract.
From the previous contract with Adidas, the NFF got N150m per year.
The NFF also revealed that other teams will earn bonuses if they qualify for major international championships.
