Rapper will play a hairdresser in 'Barbershop 3'

According to Variety, popular singer Nicki Minaj is joining the cast of upcoming movie 'Barbershop 3'.

Nicki will play a hairdresser named Draya, the sassy new hairdresser of the beauty shop portion of the barbershop.

'Barbershop 3' will be Nicki's second film role, following her  role in the 2014 'The Other Woman'.

Directed by Malcolm D. Lee, 'Barbershop 3' is written by Kenya Barris and Tracy Oliver and produced by Bob Teitel and George Tillman Jr.

The upcoming movie also stars Regina Hall, Eve and Common.
